TORONTO — The Toronto Blue Jays signed right-hander Lucas Harrell to a minor-league contract Monday with an invitation to big-league spring training. Harrell made nine starts last season for the Atlanta Braves and Texas Rangers. He posted a 3-2 record with a 4.21 earned-run average over 47 innings of work. The 31-year-old native of Ozark, Mo., made his major-league debut in 2010 with the Chicago White Sox and spent parts of four seasons with the Houston Astros. Over his career, he has a 21-35 mark and a 4.77 ERA.
