After three days of increasingly meek performances in the American League Championship Series, the Toronto Blue Jays managed a victory. The 5-1 win over Cleveland keeps Toronto alive for a Game 5 at the Rogers Centre on Wednesday. The Blue Jays, right now, look like they will go as far as Josh Donaldson and the starters — which is a decent name for a ’50s cover band — will take them. Cleveland has out-homered Toronto, and until Tuesday the only serious damage to their pitching staff came via drone. Coming into the ALCS, there was a sense that the Blue Jays offence, dormant for most of the fall, had finally found itself again.
