ANAHEIM — As time gets short on R.A. Dickey’s tenure as a Blue Jay, opportunity becomes his greatest opponent. With six starters in the Toronto stable and with each game growing in importance, his remaining starts are uncertain, at best. Then, Joe Biagini delivered a brilliant inning of relief after Dickey put him in a tough spot to start the sixth. After that first inning, Dickey was not seriously threatened, scattering three more singles through five innings to keep the shutout alive. It would be good timing if it isWhen Cron and Marte each singled with nobody out in the sixth inning, Gibbons moved quickly, summoning Biagini from the bullpen.
