TORONTO — The Toronto Blue Jays have recalled second baseman Devon Travis from Triple-A Buffalo. The Blue Jays begin a three-game series against the visiting Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday night. After Travis was sent down, the Blue Jays used Lourdes Gurriel Jr., at second in eight of the following nine games. Second base and designated hitter have been the Blue Jays least productive positions this season. Jays second baseman have produced minus-1.2 WAR this season while the DH position has generated minus-0.9 WAR according to Baseball-Reference.com.
