Toronto’s JFL42 comedy festival is back for year eight and the headlines during the Sept. 19-29 edition are: Marc Maron, Jonathan Van Ness, Gabriel Iglesias, Nick Kroll and Eric Andre, a double act of John Mulaney and Pete Davidson, and the How Did This Get Made? movies podcast. But perhaps the biggest surprise among the participants: 86-year-old Carol Burnett. Maron and Van Ness each take the same stage on Sept. 19; Kroll on Sept. 20; Mulaney and Davidson on Sept. 22; Andre on Sept. 26; and How Did This Get Made? Passes ($60-$300) for the whole event — which astute owners can leverage into seeing an armload of shows in what Barry once called “the world's most complicated comedy festival” — go on sale June 7.
