Environment Canada has issued a tornado warning for several communities in southwestern Manitoba. The areas in yellow are under severe weather watches, while the areas in red are under severe thunderstorm or tornado warnings. (Environment Canada)The weather agency issued severe thunderstorm and tornado warnings for Minnedosa, Riding Mountain National Park and the surrounding areas at about 8:30 p.m. CT Wednesday. If you hear a roaring sound or see a funnel cloud, swirling debris near the ground, flying debris, or any threatening weather approaching, take shelter immediately." Severe thunderstorm watches and warnings are in place west of Brandon throughout communities along the Manitoba-Saskatchewan border, as well as west of Lake Manitoba.
