One of the biggest tile trends making waves here and overseas, is big slabs. That being said, with the trends developing globally there is no shortage of choice to personalise your home. The wood look is unusual and certainly not for everyone, as some people prefer the natural feel of timber, but it has a growing place in the market. I've even worked with a top Auckland-based architect who paired a metallic tile look with the old fashion stainless steel shower tray to create a remarkably clean finish. The magic is that this means you can achieve the same top end marble look without breaking the bank.
