Daily News Egypt is publishing the list of 10 bestselling cars in January and February, amid price hikes across the market, which caused sales to drop. The imported Mitsubishi Lancer came in second, with 1,074 sold units worth EGP 279m. The Nissan Qashqai came in third, with 889 cars worth EGP 333m, followed by the Nissan Sentra, with sales of 879 units worth EGP 224m. The Kia Cerato was ranked fifth, with 700 units worth EGP 210m, followed by the new Chevrolet Optra GP52 with sales of 440 units. The Opel Astra was ranked eighth, with sales of 404 units worth EGP 143m, then the Opel Insignia, with sales of 361 units.
