A tooth-brushing motorist has been warned by police, as part of crackdown on distracted drivers. The woman was ‘’educated’’ by police after being spotted brushing her teeth along Dunedin's one-way system on Thursday morning, acting Senior Sergeant Anthony Bond said. The Crawford St operation also uncovered eight motorists using their cellphones, and three not wearing seatbelts. Police also spoke to some motorists about holding vaping devices, Bond said.
