Romo, who went from being an undrafted free agent to the Cowboys’ all-time leader in both passing yards and touchdowns, has been released from the only team he’s played for. Of course, the move came with the predicable cackles on social media about Romo’s frail 36 year-old body, and pressed hard on his 2-4 career playoff record. Romo, very quietly, is probably the best fourth-quarter quarterback during his time in the NFL. Romo has also led 30 game-winning drives, and has a higher quarterback rating in December (133.7) than any other quarterback in the history of the league. Romo has the fourth-highest passer rating in NFL history, and has thrown 248 touchdowns versus just 117 interceptions.
