Tony Abbott has been left with a swollen lip after he was headbutted by a man wearing a "vote yes" badge in Hobart. Police have charged a North Hobart man with assault over the alleged headbutting of former Prime Minister Tony Abbott on a Hobart street on Thursday afternoon. "The man was charged with one count of Common Assault following a police investigation into a complaint made by Tony Abbott MP," Tasmania Police confirmed in a statement. Tony Abbott had earlier said he intends to press charges if the man is caught. There was a chap wearing a 'vote yes' badge," Abbott told the radio station.
