Tommy Keene performs at the 9:30 Club in the District in 2010. His partner, Michael Lundsgaard, said Mr. Keene died in his sleep. Mr. Keene released a live album, “Showtunes,” in 2000, and continued recording until shortly before his death. A two-disc retrospective, “Tommy Keene You Hear Me,” was released in 2010.
