According to Holland, quitting alcohol has been “the best thing” he has ever done, especially after realizing the extent of his dependence on it. After experiencing a “very, very boozy” Christmas period in 2022, Holland decided to embark on a dry January. Holland admitted, “Wow, maybe I have a little bit of an alcohol thing.”Feeling scared and determined, Holland extended his period of sobriety. He felt restricted and believed he couldn’t be social without drinking.
