To make sure that Alec Baldwin's Donald Trump and Kate McKinnon's Hillary Clinton touched on all highlights from this past week's debate, Hanks started off saying, "Tonight is going to be a lot like the third Lord of the Rings movie. "Chris, she can brag about her resume," Baldwin's Trump interrupted, "but I'm the one who's got all the heavy hitters supporting me. SNL's comedy sketches parody contemporary culture and politics and are performed by a large and varying cast of repertory and newer cast members.
