Walt Disney used the cover of Star Wars mania to keep Captain America: Civil War off the grid until that first teaser about a year ago. Oh, and Fox pulled a “12 Days of Deadpool“ stunt which led up to a new trailer on Christmas day. And that’s probably the game this week with Universal’s upcoming first trailer for Tom Cruise’s The Mummy. We got a “teaser for the trailer” and a poster this morning, with promises of a full trailer on Sunday. To wit, we can expect a Transformers: The Last Knight teaser very soon, as Paramount may attach it to Office Christmas Party which opens on Dec. 9.
