Plymouth Argyle head coach Tom Cleverley has received a third touchline ban of the season after admitting to a Football Association charge of misconduct. An independent regulatory commission handed the 36-year-old a one-match ban and a £2,000 fine after he was sent off shortly before half-time in Plymouth's EFL Trophy win over Bristol Rovers on 13 January. Cleverley received two yellow cards in quick succession after a decision went against his side and afterwards he said his reaction was "not good enough". The first card was awarded for leaving his technical area, and the second for striking the dugout in reaction to the initial booking. It was the former Manchester United and England midfielder's latest episode of touchline indiscipline.
