Tom Billings, the 22-year-old British tourist who went missing on B.C. 's North Shore mountains in 2013, has been confirmed dead. A year after he went missing, his father, Martin Billings travelled to Vancouver to raise awareness of his son. The BC Coroners Service confirmed Friday morning that remains found last month near the Cypress ski area are those of the hiker from Oxford, England. They have since released a statement thanking the Vancouver Police Department and everyone involved in the search and rescue effort.
