KUALA LUMPUR: Hani complains that she has been trying to buy a SmartTAG device since November at many toll plazas. She said she was told to order the device on the Touch ‘n Go careline or website. She asked if the SmartTAG devices would be available this year or whether there would be new devices. ACTIONLINE:Overwhelming demand for SmartTAG devices from October to last month left the device in limited stock. Touch ‘n Go Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Syahrunizam Samsudin said it had since made efforts to provide the devices at its hubs.
