A total of 131,216 people are yet to be rescued and the district administration has opened a temporary camp in Telejam in Dhemaji district. Sonowal visits Majuli: Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal today visited flood-hit Majuli (his constituency) and inspected the relief camps. He also asked the administration to ensure supply of nutritional food for babies at three relief camps and three distribution centres in the district. Sonowal visited three relief camps at Kamalabari and Garmur and spent time with the flood-hit people and assured them of providing everything possible. Assam sports and youth welfare minister Naba Kumar Doley accompanied Sonowal during his visit to Majuli.
