KUALA LUMPUR: Motorists using 21 highways will enjoy discounts of 10 to 30 percent on toll charges during the Deepavali festive period. The Works Ministry in a statement today announced that the special rates would take effect from tomorrow night (12.01am) to Sunday (11.59pm). “The ministry would like to thank the highway concessionaires for implementing their corporate social responsibility programmes, which is a gesture to thank Malaysian road users.”The ministry advised motorists to plan their journeys ahead of time by following the travel time advisory issued by the respective highway concessionaires.
