An unusually cold air mass has brought wet snow to Japan’s capital. Above-freezing temperatures meant that in most places it didn’t last – though it did accumulate on sidewalks and cars in the far western suburbs. Meteorologists forecast up to 2cm would fall, and more in the mountains north-west of Tokyo. There were minor train delays during the morning commute.
