In Rio five years ago, I joined 75,000 fans in the stadium to welcome Usain Bolt and a host of stars. It will live long in the memory, universally regarded as the best Olympic curtain-raiser of all time. The best athletes in the world who have reached the pinnacle of their careers after a lifetime of hard work, striving to achieve greatness and sporting immortality.
