Crisostomo had turned herself in to police under Oplan Tokhang prior to her arrest on drug charges earlier this year. The Northern Police District (NPD) reported that 16 drug suspects were collared in Caloocan, one each in Malabon and Navotas and four in Valenzuela. In eastern Metro Manila, eight drug suspects were nabbed in separate operations. When frisked, the three allegedly yielded shabu. In Marikina City, five other drug suspects were collared by anti-narcotics operatives.
