A toddler was taken to hospital Saturday night after being hit by a vehicle in the parking lot of an Etobicoke apartment building. Initially, the boy — believed to be between 2 and 3 years old — was taken to East General Hospital with what paramedics described as “moderate” injuries. Craig Brister said the boy was later rushed from East General to Sick Kids on an “emergency run.”At this point, Brister said it’s unclear exactly how the accident occurred. Toronto police and paramedics were called to the apartment building, just east of John Garland Blvd. and Martin Grove Rd., at around 9:50 p.m.
