The voter registration deadline for this election has passed, but here's how you can request a vote-by-mail ballot if you are already registered. A majority of Californians now cast their votes by absentee, or vote-by-mail, ballot. Vote-by-mail ballots must be postmarked on or before election day (next Tuesday) and received by your county elections office no later than three days after election day. You can also vote in person before election day. Check with your county election office for locations.
