Business News of Tuesday, 13 July 2021Source: www.ghanaweb.comThe Parliament of Ghana in 2020, approved a US$3.214 million waiver of import duty on Kapek scientific mathematical instruments which were meant for use by students in the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) examinations that year. The mathematical sets, according to reports was to be procured by M/S Bluegrass Group Limited. The 835,009 instruments were estimated at a cost of GH¢63.975 million. It is, however, unclear if final year students who sat for the exams in 2020 received the mathematical sets.
