The Special Prosecutor, Martin Amidu, has been tagged as the right man to bring Alfred Woyome to book, however, the General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress, Johnson Asiedu Nketia in 2018 claimed that there is very little that the Martin Amidu can do about the Woyome case. Martin Amidu himself went to withdraw the case against Woyome… so if you have withdrawn the case against Woyome, I don’t think that you’re now going to initiate another case against Woyome. Indeed the Woyome case has not ended. He indicated that it will be in the best interest of the Special Prosecutor to probe the aforementioned ministers in order to prove his legitimacy and charter his own path.
