Maame Dokono had joined the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to declare her full support for Nana Akufo-Addo after parting ways with the National Democratic Congress (NDC). Maame Dokono revealed that she was never in South Africa as speculated by the NDC. Speaking on Peace FM’s programme “Kokrokoo” this morning, Maame Dokono said there is no truth in the rumours making rounds. According to Maame Dokono she first heard about this rumour from a friend who called and informed her that her name has been mentioned on an NDC campaign platform that she (Maame Dokono) has been arrested in South Africa on drug offence.
