Tobias Menzies thinks he was third choice to play Prince Philip in 'The Crown'. He said: "Initially I think they went after Mark Strong, then Paul Bettany, and then it came back around to me. "I did one audition where I read 10 pages with Colly (Olivia) and two weeks later I found out. "I read quite a bit and a lot of it began technically. "There's definitely been a learning curve in that, with this job, I'm looking at them for the first time."
