I grew up in Cameron Highlands, where I did my primary school and part of my secondary school until Form Four. My teachers in both schools truly inspired us with the principles of Rukunegara as they constantly reminded us the basis of its existence. Mr Kok made efforts to appreciate us in our school and my name was called up to the stage to receive the medals. Things were all rosy until the day I cut class, played truant and my name was called out in the same PA system but for a different reason. My father knew that the moment he sent me to this school, the teachers would embed positive values in my life development.
