To feel seen and heard: why gender-neutral pronouns are important


For Pride Month, CBC Saskatchewan spoke to three people who use they/them pronouns. Muze Dysart: "My mom, she didn't really care about gender stuff. It's just, like, I feel seen, I feel heard. What's your message for people who aren't used to they/them pronouns about why it's important? It's similar to saying, 'Please use they/them pronouns because they describe my gender identity better than she or he.'
