Former World cross country champion Agnes Tirop will lead compatriots Pauline Kamulu and Caroline Kipkurui at the Bengaluru 10 kilometre race on Sunday. The trio will face-off with Ethiopian contingent led by the 2018 Valencia World Half Marathon winner Netsanet Gudeta in the Indian race on Sunday. Gudeta won the World Half Marathon Championships in Valencia in March after clocking 1:06:11. Kamulu won bronze at the 2018 World Half Marathon Championships in a personal best of 1:06:56. Her Kenyan compatriot Caroline Kipkurui heads to Bengaluru 10K race with a 8:29.5 personal best recorded after winning the women’s 3000m at the Doha Diamond League.
