Tinubu, who visited Wamakko in his Sokoto home, said the former Sokoto State governor contributed a lot to national development. He said, “Senator Wamakko is extremely dependable. “We will continue to stand with Senator Wamakko as well as work with him.”On the forthcoming general elections, Tinubu told the APC governoship candidate in the state, Alhaji Ahmed Sokoto, to work with Wamakko. He said, “Senator Wamakko has remained resolute and focused in spite of some seemingly formidable challenges. As such, you have a reliable father in him.”Wamakko praised Tinubu for his contributions to the development of the country.
