President Bola Tinubu has said Nigeria is receiving foreign assistance to tackle terrorism and banditry across the country. Tinubu stated, “My administration continues to make resources available and forge foreign partnerships to enable us to deal decisive blows to the agents of terror and banditry. Tinubu acknowledged that security challenges persist despite efforts by the armed forces, but expressed confidence that progress was being made. Tinubu had earlier indicated that Nigeria was engaging foreign partners for military support, including discussions with Emmanuel Macron on equipment and training. He also urged Nigerians to support security agencies and reject actions that threaten national peace.
