President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Adepoju Wura-Ola as substantive Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service. The statement partly read, “President Tinubu approved the appointment of Adepoju Wura-Ola as the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service. “As an NIS officer, CGI Wura-Olu attended some training, including the Immigration Training School in Kano, the Immigration Command and Staff College in Sokoto, the National Institute for Security Studies in Lower Usman Dam, Bwari, Abuja, and Emotional Intelligence and Transformation Leadership. She is happily married with children.”He also said the president approved the appointment of six Deputy Comptrollers-General for the service. “Similarly, Mr President has also approved the appointment of six DCGs of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) with effect from January 1, 2023.
