Tina Satchwell case: Gardaí issue new appeal


Gardaí investigating the disappearance of Cork woman Tina Satchwell have appealed to anyone who may have witnessed any activity in a woodland near her home at the time of her disappearance to contact them. He made the appeal during a special media briefing on Monday as the North Cork Garda Divisional Search Team began an extensive search of about 40 acres of woodland in Castlemartyr. Gardaí cordoned off the area at Mitchell’s Wood on Friday but were forced to postpone a planned search because of Storm Emma. Tina Satchwell, who has been missing from her home on Grattan Street in Youghal since March 20th, 2017. Supt Noonan said that Mr Satchwell and Ms Satchwell’s relatives have been informed of the search operation by Garda liaison officers.
