Sir, One has to ask whether Conservative MPs have gone collectively mad. Your headline “Moderates back Johnson for PM” (Jun 5) suggests that they have. Boris Johnson may have a degree of facile charm but he is duplicitous, dishonest and adulterous and was, arguably, one of the worst foreign secretaries we have had in several decades. One can certainly see why he and Donald Trump are supportive of each other.
