During the accreditation process which took place many months ago, photographers were able to request either a pitchside position or a tribune one to cover the European Championships. Due to Covid-related restrictions there are now only a total of only 32 photographers allowed to cover each match (normally there would be at least 60 photographers at Wembley) — half of them behind both goals pitchside and the others in two separate tribune positions situated at the top of the first tier, above the players’ dug-outs at the stadium.
