Wesson III, 43, declined to be interviewed when approached by The Times at the Rosewood building, a two-story brick structure built in the 1920s. Herb Wesson III has lived for years at a 20-unit apartment building on Rosewood Avenue in Los Angeles. Four months later, Wesson III registered to vote at that address, according to a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk. Before Wesson III moved into the Rosewood apartment, he had an issue that could have counted against him as a prospective renter.
