At Fortis Malar, he was diagnosed as having suffered a severe heart attack and cardiogenic shock when his pulse rate hit zero in the emergency room. Senior consultant and interventional cardiologist Madan Mohan who treated the patient said, “Cardiogenic shock is a very rare condition which is often caused by a severe heart attack. Not every heart attack experiences this rare condition, which can be lethal. It begins when the heart is unable to provide sufficient resting pressure and flow, according to the specialist.
