PETALING JAYA: Barisan Nasional should prove to the people that the coalition is committed to uniting Malaysia's diverse communities as well as fostering unity and harmony, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong. In his post about attending the Sabah Barisan Convention at SMJK Tiong Hua in Sandakan, Dr Wee added that he also spoke about being dedicated to developing the country and said that this includes Sabah. Dr Wee said successes like the Pan Borneo Highway during Barisan's governance are examples of Sabah Barisan striving to improve infrastructure and accessibility. He also extended his highest appreciation to Sabah Barisan led by Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin for successfully organising the 2024 Sabah Barisan Convention and the spirit and commitment to empowering Sabah Barisan and serving the people. Barisan chairman and Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi will deliver his keynote address at the convention on Sunday afternoon.
