A presidential candidate has to be assured of the full support of his political party unless he is running as an independent. Per CNN data in the 2019 polls, Cebu province with 3 million voters is the most vote-rich province, followed by Cavite, Pangasinan, Laguna and Negros Occidental, to name a few. Region 4A (Calabarzon), with 8.7 million voters, is the region with the most number of votes, followed by the National Capital Region (Metro Manila) with 7 million voters. At present, a presidential bet nominated by a political party is authorized to spend P10 per registered voter. With a projection of some 65 million voters in 2022, his authorized expenditure is P650 million.
