The vicious cycle of Bangkok life goes on in the rainy season and many do not even bother to complain to Bangkok governor Aswin Kwanmuang. Appointed by the coup leader's order, Pol Gen Aswin has been in the position for four years. If Pol Gen Aswin came into the governorship through the normal, electoral process, he would have completed his term next month. All things considered, it's about time city people reclaim their right to elect their own governor. An election for Bangkok governor will, however, restore accountability.
