The beginning of the New Year is often a time many people make resolutions for the year ahead. Surveys show that 38% of adults in the United States set New Year’s resolutions every year, and 48% of people prioritize improving their fitness, while 36% focus on improving their mental health. Some responders said they would not be making resolutions, while other people called the resolutions other names. “So this year’s would be case happiness, don’t wait to make memories, move intentionally daily, and to honor boundaries.”Becky Kosmicki of Cairo said she had given up on New Year’s resolutions. “I do occasionally try to make resolutions at various times of the year,” she said.
