A Halifax-area man faces child pornography charges after allegedly sexually exploiting a person with a disability and sharing the images online. Dal Hutchinson told CBC News the alleged victim is from the Halifax area. He said the accused did not have access to other children with disabilities. The 34-year-old Timberlea man was in court Friday to face charges of:making child pornographypossessing child pornographymaking available child pornographysexual assaultsexual interferencesexual exploitation of a person with a disabilityunsafe storage of a firearmThe man will remain in custody until a court appearance scheduled for Wednesday afternoon. The RCMP said its investigation started Tuesday when police got a tip someone was posting child pornography involving a local child.
