WASHINGTON—Tim Pawlenty, the former Minnesota governor, said Tuesday that he is stepping down as head of a prominent financial-industry group next month, amid signals he is weighing another gubernatorial run. The Republican has been the chief executive of the Financial Services Roundtable, a group that includes some of the largest U.S. financial firms, since 2012.
