Tim Hortons and The Beer Store are two of the newest businesses that broke COVID-19 bylaws according to the city of Hamilton. The city website shows a Tim Hortons on South Service Road in Stoney Creek didn't adequately enforce capacity limits, physical distancing or masking in the store. In accordance with local COVID-19 regulations and bylaws and Tim Hortons policies, team members are required to wear masks and to follow all other relevant safety protocols when inside the restaurant," read the email. Meanwhile, The Beer Store on Mohawk Road East didn't conduct required screenings for anyone entering the store according to the website. Tim Hortons and The Beer Store make up four of the 13 charges laid on local businesses last week for failing to abide by pandemic protocols.
