Tilton police ask for help following pedestrian injured by truck


TILTON -- A 55-year-old Tilton man was seriously injured Friday when he was struck by a truck on Laconia Road at about 5:15 p.m.Police report that he was walking westbound in the eastbound lane on the water side by the Travel Lodge when a Chevrolet or GMC type pickup truck struck him and did not stop. They say the truck should have damage to the right passenger door and that the mirror is likely missing or greatly damaged. The man was taken to Lakes Region General Hospital, and then to another trauma hospital.
