The Chery Tiggo sold 568 vehicles between January and March, with a value of EGP 119.3m, toppingall Chinese brands. The Tiggo is one of the most popular Chinese cars in Egypt. The Brilliance V5 occupied the fourth position, with sales of 20 cars at a value worth only EGP 5.7m, while the Brilliance S30 sold only one car at a value worth EGP 100,000. In 2016, the Tiggo overtook its Chinese counterpart, the Emgrand 7, and topped the list of bestselling Chinese cars in Egypt, selling 4,529 units worth EGP 2.2bn. The GeelyEmgrand 7 occupied the secondposition and registered sales worth EGP 512m.The Chery Envy occupied the third spot, with sales value worth EGP 559m.
