The design of the home jersey, which is completely green, faced heavy criticism both in social and mainstream media. It is understood that the new jersey design has been approved by the International Cricket Council. In order to meet the public demand, a hint of red has been added on the chest and sleeves to the existing jersey design as well as in the trousers.
